- His FatherAlvin Wangai is an artist in his mid-twenties operating at the intersection of film, photography, and creative direction. His medium is light. His subject is the human interior - the flicker of feeling that passes across a face, the weight a body carries, the stories that live just beneath the surface of a glance.
Born between two worlds - Nairobi and Perth - Alvin brings a dual perspective that sharpens his eye. He doesn't document reality. He interprets it, finding the psychological truth inside the visual moment.
